Plan __________

There’s a lot to think about when ordering custom countertops, but with a little upfront planning, we can start your project off on the right foot. Browse our Products Page to compare materials, brands, and colors, or stop by our showroom where one of our customer service representatives will be available to get the ball rolling.

We have experience serving a large range of millwork companies, general contractors, and homeowners, and each job always starts with receiving an estimate based on drawings of your plans and a little input on your end.

Pick your material, brand, and color. Once we know the complexity of the installation, including the edge profile, countertop measurements, and cutout details, we can quote an estimated cost of the entire job. Our project estimators provide fast turnarounds for architectural drawings to provide a thorough, detailed estimate. Once you have looked over your estimate, the only thing left to do is place your order where a Blan-co representative will contact you to schedule a template appointment.

Measure __________

No wall is perfectly flat or smooth. That's why accurate measurement is a crucial step in creating your new countertops. Our trusted experts will visit your home or job site and use the latest laser template technology to create an exact digital template to ensure a perfect fit of your countertops. Once your base cabinets have been measured, they should not be altered without contacting us first. Our laser template system makes the process of fabrication and installation more accurate for you in the end, so we must be notified if any changes need to be made.

After we have created an exact template of your countertops, we revisit your estimate to compare prices and see if there are any discrepancies. There are very few instances where this may happen, but in the event that there is a significant deviation from the estimated cost, we reserve the right to raise or lower your estimated cost to arrive at an actual cost of the project.

The next step is to sign an order confirmation and make a 50% deposit on the price of the job. Please read over the order confirmation as it contains important information such as a complete overview of the details of your job. Once payment is received and everything has been confirmed, we move on to the fabrication process.

Fabricate __________

After all the paperwork has been signed, the next step is to order your material from the distributor or direct from the manufacturer if we don't already have the product in our warehouse. If you would like to view your stone before production, you are more than welcome to do that, but please be aware that both remnant and slab viewings are by appointment only. Contact us if you would like to schedule an appointment!

Once we start to fabricate your stone, we use a two-step process to manufacture your countertops in our state of the art production facility. First, our computer programmer sets up the job based off your digital template to be cut on our stone saws and CNCs. Second, skilled craftspeople polish the edges to your exact specifications. This produces a high standard of quality that we guarantee you will love.

Solid surface fabrication is similar to the fabrication of quartz and natural stone, but the process is slightly more simplified allowing us to take on large commercial jobs. We use specialized table saws and routers to assemble your top to match your template specifications. A two part epoxy that is color matched to your chosen material is then used to bind the surface together to create the virtually seamless look that solid surface has come to be known for. Once the fabrication process is complete, a customer service representative will be in contact with you to schedule an install date for your new countertops.

Install __________

On the date of your installation, our crew of trained and certified installers will arrive at your job site within an agreed upon time frame. The length of the installation will vary depending on the size and complexity of the job. Installation for a job typically takes anywhere from a few hours to a day, but there are some things you can do to speed up the process.

Coordinate with your plumber, electrician, carpenter, and other workers before installation as needed to complete tasks such as plumbing and electrical disconnects. If we are doing the tear-out of your previous countertops, please have everything cleaned off the countertops before our installers arrive. If you are getting new sinks, faucets, or appliances, make sure these will all be on-site before our crews arrive to ensure a proper fit.

Our tradesmen pay attention to every last detail to ensure that you get the beautiful results you expect, so we do require at least one person to be available during the installation process to answer any specific questions that may arise. Our installers will lay the slabs directly on top of  your base cabinets and fasten them in place with a silicone-based construction adhesive. Then, any seams between slabs are filled with color-matched epoxy resin to make certain that they are sealed snug and blend beautifully. Once we have completed the install, the only thing remaining is your brand new countertops.
